Aqak Rexford's daily life revolves around family and work. Here are a few snapshots of daily life that provide a basic idea of what "A Day In the Life of Aqak" is!

Aqak is up early for a rigid physical exercise routine (currently this includes calisthenics and a 30 minute run).

The work is often as much preparation of bowhead baleen as it is actually etching.

Most of Aqak's "work" is done at the Inupiat Heritage Center's workshop area that is provided specifically for local artists.

Evenings are for family and local social activities.
